Wreaths Across America - 2021

After having to cancel last year's 2020 event due to COVID restrictions, we are planning to participate again this year in laying wreaths at Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America but details have not yet been confirmed. Locations and hours vary by the year based on local support. I will post more as I find out details, especially how COVID restrictions this year may change this event but wanted to get the word out for planning purposes. For those who have never participated, each year Volunteers lay donated wreaths on the graves of Veterans at cemeteries across the country following a short memorial ceremony. To learn more and/or donate a wreath, please visit www.wreathsacrossamerica.org It's a moving tribute and a rewarding event to honor our fellow Veterans. Given continuing COVID gathering restrictions, how it will work this year is unknown, however the plan is to meet around 1000 to help assemble wreaths then a ceremony at Noon and wreath laying following the ceremony.
