FINANCING OPTIONS FOR IMPACT ENTREPRENEURSHIP

A cross-border event to demystify financing sources & meet a community of impact entrepreneurs and impact funders.

The event aims to demystify financing sources for impact entrepreneurship through a panel session about Impact entrepreneurship, 5 thematic workshops, a « meet my needs » pitch session and some active networking. An event co-organized by Interreg project PUSH GR, REconomy Luxembourg and Etika.

Detailed programme:

• 10 am: Introduction panel on impact entrepreneurship with Eric Lavillunière (REconomy Luxembourg), Daniel Tesch (Union luxembourgeoise de l'économie sociale et solidaire), Sevan Holemans (Solifin), and Fabienne Colling (Touchpoints asbl)
• 11:45 am Thematic workshops:
  Crowdfunding (with EtiCROWD, Simon Le Financier & On.Perfekt)
• Microcredit (with MicroLux, Crédal)
• Bank financing (with Spuerkees, Akabo-Buttek & others)
• Equity financing (with Tool2Care & Tiime)
• Grants and prizes from foundations (with Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grand-Duchesse Charlotte & others)
• 2 pm: Pitch session « meet my needs » (with Jay Tompt from Totnes REconomy Project)
• 3:30 pm: Networking

ONLY 4 entrepreneurs will be able to pitch their project – if you complete the following requirements, please send your application to cecile@cell.lu - Deadline: May 13.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Profil

• Enterprise is ethical, sustainable, local;
• Based in Belgium, France, Germany or Luxembourg;
• Venture is ready to ‘get to the next level’: new articles, innovation, expansion...;
• Ideally would operate in one or more of the following sectors: food, renewable energy, housing, health & care;
• Contributes to the long-term resilience of the society;
• A project that can be replicable.

3. Send the following info - no more than 1 page!

• 2-3 lines : « Meet my needs » : define clearly what is or are your needs today? How can the community help you?
• 10 lines : Description of your project (the shorter, the better, it’s already a good training for your 5-6 min. pitch).
• 10 lines about yourself and your motivation to attend the pitch session.
• A picture of you and your project
