Sand Volleyball Classic

Welcome back for our third annual Sand Volleyball Classic! We are excited to get back on the courts for a fun filled and safe day to support Connecticut Childrens. Adam Rivers is back to play all your favorite tunes!
There are three prize categories this year:
-Tournament winner: $1,200 cash prize!
-Most Spirited (voted on by the players): Pizza Bowl (shoes, 16 in pizza, 3 pitchers of PBR and shot of Fireball and 2 hours of bowling) - 2 lanes plus 50% off future registration.
-Team that raises the most money for Connecticut Childrens (deadline is August 20): Thimble Island Brewery Tour with sampling

Details:
-We have room for 48 teams. Teams need a minimum of 3 males, 3 females and 8 players overall with a maximum of 15 players on the roster.
-This is a round robin tournament that recognizes our CLUBWAKA rulebook.
-Teams are guaranteed 3 games in pool play.
-Games are 20 minutes using rally scoring.
-Report scores to the DJ booth after each round.
-Captains are responsible for reporting their scores.
-There is no cap on scoring. There is a penalty if a team is deemed stalling.
-Round robin is self reffed. If there is a disagreement on a point, it is replayed.
-Semis and Finals will have a head ref.
-Elimination rounds are one game to 25 win by 2 or first to 27.
No outside food or beverage is allowed in. We will have beer and food specials all day! (If you are caught bringing in food or tailgating, you will be eliminated from the tournament, not questions asked.)
