AWS offers a few services to facilitate serverless computing. The session aims to cover the following 2 services which can help you host an API without the need for setting up EC2 based server infrastructure.

  1. API Gateway

  2. Lambda

Serverless computing has the potential to reduce the total cost of ownership of an API significantly.
