Discussion: The Power of Discernment: A Tale of Two Towns

Presentation Description:
Join us as GSCA member Jackie Simmons takes us on a journey to the mythical Land of Discernment where everyone is loved and only actions are judged.

Isn’t that the hallmark of coaching? To help our clients observe their behaviors in non-judgmental ways so that they can change troublesome behaviors and experience different results?

Jackie will take us on a tour of the two settlements in the Land of Discernment and the road most traveled which runs between them.
On this journey, we’ll learn:

1. Why it’s challenging to tell the inhabitants apart.
2. Where our clients get tripped up on their journey to live in GIVERS Grove
3. Five actions that are consistently taken by the inhabitants of GIVERS Grove
4. Five actions that are consistently taken by the inhabitants of Taker Town

Come prepared to ask questions. AND go ahead and ponder this one:
“What would your life be like if you were surrounded by more GIVERS and fewer Takers?”*

This meeting will be in person over lunch at The Grove Restaurant, 10670 Boardwalk Loop, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202. Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch (you order on your own, lunch not included) in Grove’s spacious and airy covered outdoor pavilion. Alternatively, we can easily move inside if conditions warrant.

This meeting is open to members and non-members alike. Members and non-members are most welcome (no fees this month!)
