East Bay Hills

I grew up in Oakland and my first experiences on a motorcycle were in the East Bay Hills. I like to go back and visit those roads every few years.

To avoid freeways we will go down through the delta. I will probably get out a map later and figure out a route. Possible return out into farm country instead of back to the delta. Probably begin in the Berkely Hills and head south, maybe to Castro Valley, or maybe through Moraga.

Mostly good roads, with a few fairly tight corners in the hills and some moderate traffic, this is the Bay Area after all. As with the Los Angeles mountains, there is a whole world of back roads that the couple of million residents hardly ever get to, or have any idea that exists. Come find out.
