WHAT: Pub trivia accompanied by music (which is sometimes a clue to the answer).
WHY: The questions are perfect for a team environment because they can be from any decade on topics like movies, history, art, music, science, and much more.
BRING: Something to write with and on.

• This helps you jot down your guess, or thoughts about the music or question, and pass it around if needed.
• Like any trivia, the battle is keeping your answers from the neighboring team (and they are sooo close to us in this space). So if everyone brings something to write on, this allows us to share thoughts without giving it away to the next team.

CLUE OF THE DAY

• On the day of the event only, check out their website for the clue of the day.
• The clue will often ask for a specific object to be shown to the DJ for bonus points -- when it does, please comment if you're the one willing to bring it.

TEAM STRUCTURE

• Preferred team size is 8. When we have more than 8, the host will decide if we split in two.
• Primary team name for this location: A Shore Thing

PRIZES

• When we win (example: first place), the host will apply the winnings to appetizers for the following week.
• Points are totaled each week in the RI league which might qualify us for the state-wide championships; twice annually. In December of 2022, our team came in 3rd place from 45 qualifying teams. Yay!

AGENDA

1. 6:00 - Ask for the 'A Shore Thing' table.
2. 6:15-ish - The trivia lead will give slips of paper; write the team number given to you from the host.
3. 6:30 - Trivia starts on the TV screens and lasts a little over an hour.

MEETUP ETIQUETTE

• Update your RSVP if plans change.
• We make reservations for the restaurant, if you are a no-show you run the risk of being removed from the group entirely.

• Hosting Requirements: verifying the table size needed with the restaurant, welcome people to the table, answer any questions asked, have fun. If there are winnings, tell Sarah and we'll figure it out.
