Monday, Nov 3 — Special Use Permit Hearing, Planning and Zoning (Project YaREN)

• What: Public hearing on Project YaREN’s Special Use Permit
• Why it matters: This is the community’s moment to go on record about siting an ammonia facility near homes and schools. The Planning and Zoning board will listen to citizen comments and make a recommendation on the permit to the city council.

• What: City Council Vote for Special Use Permit: Project YaREN
• Why it matters: Our City Council, unlike the TCEQ, is accountable to the residents of Ingleside. This vote is a defining moment — a signal of whose future they are protecting: the people’s or the industry’s. Strong turnout and heartfelt testimony will be impossible to ignore.
