Punk Philosophy in the Park: Hannah Arendt

Details
Location update: Let's meet in front of the amphitheater. Bring chairs or blankets!
Punk Philosophy is a new social discussion series about philosophers who challenged the status quo. Our first philosopher is Hannah Arendt, who studied N-zis and totalitarianism. She marveled that high-ranking N-zis were such boring, ordinary people-- which meant that boring, ordinary people had adjusted themselves to horrors. It could happen anywhere. We'll discuss what this means for us today, too.
This isn't a lecture-- the organizer (Ellison) is absolutely not an expert, so try to learn/brush up on your own a little bit beforehand. Search Hannah Arendt on Google, YouTube, or anywhere else you get intel. It's ok to just come listen, but it's more fun if many people have something to share.
If you don't know where to start, this is the audiobook/text Ely went to first: https://youtu.be/25yf4qxaS0Q?si=gv-uYu13lHxkwfiu
