This is a general-interest march for all issues related to gender equality, including reproductive and trans rights, equal pay, desire for more equitable political representation, and more. We are proactively promoting this event and hope for a great turnout. It is family-friendly in tone and organizers plan to avoid openly antagonistic language-- though free speech is encouraged among individuals and partner organizations participating. The route begins near the Amphitheater/North Parking Lot (suggested parking place). The walk is 1/2 mile within Cole Park, fully paved, and we are working to offer shuttles back to start for maximum accessibility. This is a permitted event and is not affiliated with a political party or candidate.
