The Nobel Prize Reading List - discussion with wine

Details
Hi there!
This time we go with French writer Annie Ernaux and her novel ‘The Years’. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2022 "for or the courage and clinical acuity with which she uncovers the roots, estrangements and collective restraints of personal memory".
Novel has over 200 pages (so not too long). About the story per Wikipedia: ‘Ernaux writes about herself in the third person (elle, or "she" in English) for the first time, providing a vivid look at French society just after the Second World War until the early 2000s. It is the social story of a woman and of the evolving society she lived in.’
Interview with Annie:
Writer Annie Ernaux: "I'm not trying to make it beautiful; I'm trying to make it right."
Enjoy your reading/listening!
