Kawartha Land Trust…Viamede Resort

It’s been a couple of seasons…it’s time to check out the trails at Viamede…assuming footing is good, this will be a 7.5 Km hike approximately. The good news is that the way the trails are laid out, anyone wanting to shorten the distance can abstain from hiking the “Red Loop”.

The Red Loop however is the most scenic portion of the property, coming down as it does right to the shore of Stoney Lake.

If the trails stay in their current condition, I strongly recommend the use of ice cleats on the bottom of footwear.
