BYOB (Bring Your Own Book)

For the first meeting of the book club, I thought everyone could bring what they’re currently reading or have read recently. We can get to know each other, discuss our books and plan how we want the next meeting to be like.

The idea behind BYOB is that as readers, we all know how long our TBR piles are. It can be hard for everyone to read the same book at the same time. Combining BYOB with traditional book club structure means that you have the opportunity to discuss a book you’ve recently enjoyed or hated, learn about new books from other people while also giving enough time to select a book for us all to read and discuss.
