A weekly, mostly-online meetup bringing together programmers of all ages, skills and experiences in a casual environment to share, collaborate, and hack together.
The focus is on technical books, especially ones considered classical computer science texts.
Current book: Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, second edition.
The book club will be held online in the Code && Coffee Discord server in a voice channel and will be streamed online on the Code && Coffee Twitch channel. As always, every one is welcome to participate in their choice of text, voice, or video chat.
We love Linux and we love the kernel. Ever thankful are we that this hobby project now runs much of our modern lives. We love BSD too!
New users and experienced admins alike are welcome to come by and talk about how Makefiles work. If you have your favorite distro that no one has heard of, feel free to bring that too!
We won't be fielding any installations for lack of time but feel free to bring questions. ---
