AWSxCode Club Copenhagen
Details
AWS and Code Club Copenhagen (3C) will be co-hosting a October event with two following talks.
Antonela Cukurin - Tech Lead & Aditya Sundaramurthy - Platform Engineer Novo Nordisk
Heimdall Platform expansion to AWS with Crossplane
Join us for an in-depth technical discussion about the Heimdall platform, specifically focusing on the Control Plane (Ymir). Ymir is an abstraction platform powered by Crossplane and ArgoCD, built on Azure. We are currently undergoing a significant evolution: expanding Ymir into a true multi-cloud platform by extending it to AWS. This talk will explore our journey of enhancing our core APIs, transitioning from a single-cloud approach to a multi-cloud paradigm, and the challenges we are facing along the way.
Przemyslaw Mikulski - Data/Cloud Consultant - Kodlot
Self-Healing Data Platforms – 3A’s: Automation, AI, and Alignment
- In complex data platforms powered by AWS Glue, AppFlow, Airflow, and Step Functions, operational issues are inevitable. This talk shares how we built a self-healing system that automatically detects issues, tags them with context, uses Bedrock-based LLMs to suggest resolutions, and keeps stakeholders informed via GitLab and Slack. The result: a 40% drop in incident volume and significantly faster resolution times.
Key takeaways: • Using automation + AI for smarter incident workflows • Practical use of Bedrock in a data engineering context • Bridging operations and business with structured communication
