June Meetup

Hi folks,

This will be what I hope to be the start of a series of talks. We discussed at the May meeting the idea of discussing how different companies actually go about deploying their software, whatever that means for the company and product.

I also put up my hand to go first, so this month we'll be covering how Stacklet get deployed.

I'll be covering:

• what are the components that we are deploying
• what technologies these components need to operate
• how we go about deploying these components
• the difference between "on prem" vs SaaS
• some terraform
• AWS code build jobs and pipelines
• how dev and qa deployments differ
• how we've managed to automate various components

There should be ample time to discuss things as we go and to talk questions.
