We're a group of developers, designers, writers, creators, thinkers and civic-minded people that want to use our skills to solve problems, open data and enhance life in the Dayton region. We work with civic and community leaders and collaborate on projects. We host hackathons and regular hack nights to produce really cool mobile and web apps that solve problems and help people.
Code for America and the Brigade Network proudly invite you to the 6th annual Brigade Congress! This hybrid event will occur online and in person in St. Louis, MO, from October 14-16, 2022.
What is Brigade Congress?
Brigade Congress is the primary convening centered around the Code for America Network - bringing together Brigade volunteers and leaders, government and community partners, and civic tech professionals. Together, we share our collective vision of what's next for our movement and learn the skills we need to level up our civic hacking communities.
We have planned training sessions, collective action activities, speakers, unconference sessions, lightning talks, participatory governance, and more.
Come ready to share your stories on what has worked and hasn't and how we can apply those lessons to future wins. We'll tackle how to prevent burnout, how to solve complex problems, and how to overcome the challenges you're facing on the ground.
But beyond that, we'll come together around our shared values and learn how volunteers like you work for change.
We strive to ensure that as many Network volunteers can attend Brigade Congress. Please read the travel support options and apply here. We know the travel support deadline has passed, but if you are interested in attending in person, please reach out to us at [masked].
RSVP for Brigade Congress To reserve your in-person or virtual ticket, please register through Eventbrite. RSVPing there will help us email you essential updates around the event.
