National Day of Civic Hacking

This will be Code for Iowa's first meetup! We plan to discuss the draft Code for Iowa description and logo, discuss possible projects, hear from Christopher Whitaker, Code for America Brigade Program Manager, and learn more about the volunteers and their interests. We hope you'll come be a part of our inaugural meeting to help steer Code for Iowa down the path to success.

UPDATE: I have received questions and interest from people around Iowa who may not be able to attend Code for Iowa meetings in Iowa City. I was hoping to see this type of interest and want to do what we can to support them. I have setup a WebEx meeting for this Saturday's meetup, so people can participate via video conference even if they can't be here in person. I am, admittedly, new to WebEx. I've set the meeting to start at 9:50am to give us a little time to troubleshoot any audio/video issues. I look forward to learning more about everyone's interests and feedback on Saturday.
