Join Code Miami and Maptime Miami for an exploration of new mapping technologies that are accessible from your computer. Scientists from META will discuss their work to improve pedestrian accessibility using open, collaborative mapping. Bring your computer, or use one of ours. Snacks will be served.
How to get here:
- Address - 3000 NE 151 Street, Building Academic 2, Room 135, North Miami, 33180 - Map here
- Parking - Attendees may use PayByPhone app - Select Lot 2 in app. Visitors should come to the BBC Campus and use Lot 2's METERED spots at east side corner. A map is here
- Various Miami-Dade Transit bus routes will get you to the Biscayne Bay Campus:
- Route 75 – Miami Lakes Educational Center to FIU BBC
- Route 135 – Hialeah Metrorail, Miami Lakes to FIU BBC
- The City of North Miami also offers free transportation to FIU BBC through the NoMi Express Free Bus. (7am - 7pm)
