Code for Milwaukee's Hack Night will take place on The Third Thursday of the month, August 19th.

Our Featured Speaker will be David McDonald from the NexTo project.

David McDonald is the Director of Development at Brilliance Business Solutions which he co-owns. After working at NASA for 3 years and Rockwell Automation for 15 years, and 10 years ago he joined his wife Lori at Brilliance, a software and ecommerce systems provider for manufacturers and distributors. The company has grown to 20 people and provides services for customers all over the US. He joined NexTo in 2020 to help with their Covid relief efforts.

"NexTo was created during the COVID-19 pandemic. Community organizations spend a significant amount of time and energy to respond to time-sensitive community needs and crisis situations. NexTo helps the social sector become more rapid and efficient and enables organizations to make a positive impact at scale."

!!!ALSO!!! Code for Milwaukee (CfM) is looking for new core team members to lead CfM to bring citizens, entrepreneurs, and gov’t officials together to help make Milwaukee a safer, healthier, and more fun city to live in. We will plan to have discussion during hack night.
