Open development of Covid apps - several international approaches

Details
Open development of Covid apps: what can we learn from the Dutch, Canadian and UK approaches?
Many countries have developed a COVID contact tracing app. In this webinar, we’ll compare the open approaches taken in Canada, the Netherlands and the UK. In the Netherlands, a community of hundreds of experts in software development, privacy, design, legal affairs and epidemiology all observed and contributed to the app development process. What effects did this have on the quality of the app and trust in the app? How did the approaches taken by the other countries differ? What can we learn from each other?
Emily Kuret (Product Manager & Design lead of the Canadian COVID Alert app), Edo Plantinga (community manager of the Dutch CoronaMelder) and Terence Eden (previously Head of Open Technology at NHSX, which built the UK COVID app) will share their experiences in this webinar.
This webinar is a collaboration between CoronaMelder, Code for NL, Rijksinnovatie Community, Leer- en Expertisepunt Open Overheid, Canadian Digital Service, NHSX and the Foundation for Public Code.
