Building an infrastructure of trust for AI systems: a risk-based approach
The event will address the role of independent audits in building an infrastructure of trust for AI systems, and how the self-assessment of AI systems pre-deployment, as envisaged by the forthcoming EU AI Act, will act as an early precursor to independent audit. The implications of the Act’s provisions for AI system development and deployment will also be explored. The event will place particular emphasis on the role of governmental bodies in leading the way towards trustworthy AI.
Speakers:
- Ryan Carrier, Executive Director, For Humanity
- Greg Elliott, Fellow at For Humanity
