What we're about

Code Mentorship is an all-inclusive, loosely-structured group aiming to provide mentorship opportunities for people in the tech industry and those looking to get into the tech industry.

We welcome people from all walks of life, all levels of experience, and all tech stacks. Whether you're considering a code bootcamp, teaching yourself to program, graduating with a CS degree, or a seasoned professional looking to give back to the community, you're welcome here.

We're looking for companies to sponsor the group - money that would go directly to paying Meetup fees and providing coffee/snacks for the community. Get your tech company on the radar of up-and-coming developers by sponsoring us!

To ensure that everyone has a good time, we follow the Berlin Code of Conduct.

We'll be meeting at the Center for Innovation at the Fayetteville Public Library, Tuesday October 4th from 5:30 - 7:30 (feel free to come and go as you need to). Bring your laptop if you want to work on something or just bring questions if you're curious about programming!

If you're having trouble finding us, talk to the staff at the Center for Innovation desk. They may be helping someone in one of the studios, but give them a minute and they should magically appear.

5:30-5:40 ~ We'll introduce ourselves - saying who we are, what we're interested in, what we need help on, and what we can help on.

5:40-7:30 ~ Split into groups for mentorship and networking, or you can also just code and study independently.
