## About the Trail
Join us for an epic hike through the Galatea Lakes Trail leading up to the stunning Lillian Lake. This trail winds through lush forest, crosses bridges over Galatea Creek, and rewards us with a breathtaking alpine lake at the end. It’s one of the most popular hikes in Kananaskis for good reason!

## What to Bring
- 🥾 Hiking boots/shoes with good grip

We’ll meet at the Galatea Day Use Parking Lot (near Hwy 40). Carpooling is encouraged—please arrange in the Meetup comments.

Take Trans-Canada Hwy 1 (westbound) toward Banff.

Exit onto Highway 40 South (Kananaskis Trail).

Drive ~27 km south on Hwy 40.

Look for the Galatea Day Use Area sign/turnoff on your right.

- This is a moderate hike—please ensure you are comfortable with distance and elevation gain.
- Bears are active in the area—bring bear spray and know how to use it.
- This is a leave-no-trace hike: pack out what you pack in.
