Maptime Hampton Roads

Welcome 2016! We've had a busy start to the year and are ready to get MaptimeHRVA rolling again with a dual OpenStreetMap / International Women's Day Mapathon!

We're taking part in the 2016 OSM Spring Mapathon (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mapathon/US_Winter_Mapathon_2016) and theming our event for International Women's Day. (http://www.internationalwomensday.com/Activity/6169/International-Women-s-Day-Mapathon-OpenStreetMap-)

Our focus will be on adding features in support of women and girls in the Hampton Roads region.

This maptime event is being hosted by Aid Data at William and Mary.

Maptime is an open learning environment for all levels and degrees of knowledge and offers intentional support for the beginner. Maptime is simultaneously flexible and structured, creating space for workshops, ongoing projects with a shared goal, and independent/collaborative work time. Beginners most welcome!
