Demystifying the library stack

Solr, Fedora, Blacklight, Samvera, Hydra, Cantaloupe, Islandora, Drupal, AtoM... the wide array of technologies that are behind library and archive applications can be confusing. We'll try to make sense of it all.

Speakers:

Chulhee "Chul" Yoon has been a part of the Information Technology Services department at the University of Toronto Libraries since July 2013 as a Project Application Programmer Analyst. He maintains several Drupal sites and web service applications used by the library. His primary interests are Drupal and ReactJS.

Sunny Lee is a Digital Initiatives Application Programmer Analyst in Information Technology Services, University of Toronto Libraries. She is currently working on the development and support of web-based applications and websites for the full range of ITS projects, with a particular focus on creating and implementing digital collections sites that promote access to and awareness of the Library’s special collections.

Rachel is an Application Programmer Analyst at the Information Technology Services, University of Toronto Libraries. She will be presenting a lightning talk on DSpace and a quick overview of other platforms used for Institutional Repositories.
