What we’re about

I’m the organizer of CodeAICamp, a completely free, community-driven meetup series. We plan to keep it open and accessible to everyone.

CodeAICamp is a free, non-commercial initiative focused on education and community.

Our mission is to democratize Gen AI capabilities and help people to thrive not just survive in a rapidly changing tech landscape.

Our vision is to create a level playing field for all problem solvers – not limited by their ability to code, but by their ability to think clearly and solve real-world problems.

We believe that every software developer, regardless of company, work experience, or current technical level, can grow 10x–100x in the new world of Gen AI and AI coding assistants. At CodeAICamp, we help them:
• Learn to leverage Gen AI tools at work and at home
• Code with English (and beyond) so they can ship faster
• Eliminate repetitive, dull work and focus on higher-value problem solving

From Bug to Better: Using AI to Fix the SnoozeTabs Extension (Live Coding)

Online

Live, part unscripted and part scripted session where we use Code AI tools to understand, debug, and improve SnoozeTabs – a real browser extension we are building that snoozes your tabs, windows, and todos for later.

Why you must attend ?
Most AI coding demos use tiny toy examples.
In this session, we go the other way: real code, real bugs, real stakes.

In this first episode of our ongoing CodeAICamp Live Series, we’ll work on SnoozeTabs – a Chrome/Firefox extension that lets you snooze tabs, windows, and todos for later so you can focus now and bring them back when you actually need them.

We’ll walk through how we use AI coding assistants to:

  • Understand an existing codebase we didn’t write
  • Reproduce and reason about real bugs
  • Ask better questions to AI tools (instead of “just write the code”)
  • Generate, refine, and verify fixes in the SnoozeTabs extension
  • Capture what we did in docs and tests so changes are sustainable

This won’t be a polished “after the fact” talk.
It’s a live, transparent look at how AI actually fits into day-to-day development work.
