Details
We assemble at 18:30 pm and the talk starts at 19:00 pm until 20:00 pm. Afterwards we are looking forward to discussions and socializing while enjoying food and cold beverages.
Abstract
With Hadoop 3.0 rumored to be released until the end of 2017, it's time to have a closer look at all the shiny and fancy features and fixes it brings along. Having a closer look at the technical details of Core Hadoop (HDFS and YARN), we will answer the emerging question whether Hadoop 3.0 will be an architectural revolution like Hadoop 2.0 was with YARN & Co. or if it will be more of an evolution adapting to new use cases like IoT and Machine Learning.
