Learn techniques for implementing powerful, dynamic, custom websites and apps without writing a line of JavaScript or requiring any preprocessors, compilers, or servers.

Rob (@8bitrpg (https://twitter.com/8bitrpg)) – Random == Unfair

What can a quick naive dive into randomness tell us about society or perhaps even some fundamental properties to our shared existence? Can these insanely complex philosophical, scientific and mathematical abstractions be explained in 10 minutes or less using some cheaply written code originally created to place blocks in a game? I'll explore some curious features of contiguous random distributions (moving stuff around randomly) in non-localized, linear and two-dimensional spaces using both closed and open topologies (dots, dots on a line, dots on a map... maps that end, maps that fold).

Afsha (@AS_AS (https://twitter.com/AS_AS)) – Automating with C# (Excel example)

This talk will walk through how to start with automation using Excel. Demonstration will showcase the use of APIs, breakdown of problems, and deployment of a custom Excel application. This simple method can be applied to future custom C# applications.
