Volunteer Orientation for Coded by Kids PTW Events

Want to do Philly Tech Week differently this year? Volunteer with Coded by Kids!

During Philly Tech Week, Coded by Kids is hosting Tech Week events at two community centers. The goal of these events is to engage Philadelphia residents who have little to no representation in the tech industry or Philadelphia’s tech community. Through these events, Coded by Kids hopes to break down entry barriers and empower attendees to seek out further engagement with Philadelphia’s tech community.

Each event is free and will include the following sessions:

• Coding 101: This session will provide participants with a friendly environment to learn basic coding concepts.

• Meet the Philly Tech Scene: This session will give attendees the inside scoop on what’s happening in the Philly tech scene and introduce them to some of the community-driven tech organizations and the services they provide.

We need volunteers of all kinds to help these events run smoothly. Come out to this meetup to learn how you can be a part of our Community Tech Events!
