Road Closures due to Rodes 10k!: Initial Meeting! Alert

Details
Hello all!
Code for Kentuckiana will hold our initial meetup on March the 9th at the Louie Lab from 10AM – 3PM. We hope to meet many of you there as we introduce our first few projects. At the meetup, there will be opportunities to bring forth ideas about projects that need doing, and information about how you can get more integrated with the work of Louisville's Code for America brigade.
A component of this meetup will be a skill share. Members of our steering committee will be hosting a few opportunities, including a Freedom of Information Act workshop and an introduction to data science workshop. If you have a skill you'd like to share, bring it along!
Schedule:
10-10:30: Introduction of Brigade/Meet the Steering Committee
10:30-11: Introduce Projects already in progress
11-11:30: Hear from attendees about different ideas/potential new projects.
11:30-3: Skill Share/Project work
Note: Many of you might be wondering when you signed up for our Meetup. This meetup is owned and maintained by Code for America for its Louisville Brigade. Louisville previously had a Code for America brigade that decided to dissociate from the parent organization. We are taking their place as the official Louisville brigade. If you'd rather leave our Meetup, no hard feelings! But, we hope you give us a chance!
