The Talks::
Securing our organisations is hard and the attackers are exploiting weaknesses at an increasingly alarming rate. I explore the organisational constraints that put our organisations at risk, and develop a framework to reduce the effects of silos and create a more cohesive defence against cybersecurity attacks. Drawing from systems thinking models to diagnose general problems affecting organisational security, I propose some design changes that could be made to improve the defensive stance of organisations. I focus on software engineering as a candidate for making these changes.
