Decodering: CMake for Humans
Details
CMake has a bit of a reputation for being confusing, but much of this stems from how it used to work. Modern CMake has come a long way, and can actually be quite enjoyable to use once you get the hang of it. For larger projects, it becomes much more powerful and maintainable than a mountain of Makefiles.
This talk is designed as a practical crash course on using modern CMake effectively. We'll focus on best practices and keeping things simple, covering both what to do and what to avoid.
Whether you're completely new to CMake or have had frustrating experiences with it in the past, I hope this talk will either get you started on the right foot or inspire you to give it another chance.
