Hello, welcome back to the JS101 group in the new year. We will still have the same format, a mixture of talks and coding - hopefully including pair programming. But we will be extra strict with time keeping!

For this session, Tim will give a brief presentation on a React challenge that is part of Free Code Camp and how he solved it.

Katja will give a high-level overview of the app the group has been coding together, the different technologies, a roadmap for its further development and how people can contribute to it.

In general, this is a good opportunity for everybody to state their goals for what to learn in the coming year. In terms of resources to work through, here are some favourites of the group:
Eloquent JavaScript, FreeCodeCamp, Secrets of the JavaScript Ninja, You don't know JS, NodeSchool
Also, please check out the JS101 handbook: https://javascript101.gitbooks.io/ (https://javascript101.gitbooks.io/guide/content/chapter1.html)

The main thing will be coding though. We could do some general JS challenges like Codewars for this session, or just bring your own!

Something about the format and a rough timetable for each session can be found here: https://javascript101.gitbooks.io/guide/content/chapter1.html
