Engineering meetups aren’t what they used to be. I miss the pre-COVID, rag-tag vibe where you just went to a pub, asked senior devs dumb questions, and generally nerd-talk over a sticky table.

A few friends and I used to run a private group we called Codelo Time (a riff on the Modelo time meme) to get back to that chaos. Then people moved overseas and we went online. It was still good, but it changed.

So we’re open-sourcing it.

We're bringing Codelo Time back to a real pub. No sponsors, no pitch decks, no BS. Just drinks, shit-talking, and one short, informal presentation (probs a live demo that crashes).

This sessions talk is from my good friend, Filip Gudov. Filip is a data scientist with 10+ years in the industry. He started in marketing data science before moving to investment management and trading. He's going to talk about optimal budget allocation, what the 'science' means in 'data science' or maybe spooky action at a distance. Not sure.

This room is pretty limiting, so get in quick!
