From 5.30pm, we just socialise and shit-talk about what broke in the last week's releases or what didn’t.

Unfortunately, we can't do our previous location, as it is already booked. This time, we have a booking at The Clock in Surrey Hills. I've asked for a location upstairs to the right and around the corner but it's unconfirmed yet so check the comments here for an update on the day!

From around 7.00pm, Josh will share some of his insights into data scraping and how he has applied it to his latest project.

With a data scraping history spanning from JB Hifi pricing data, through to motorcycle parts catalogues, Josh shifts gear into the world of Shopify app reviews.

Using NodeJS, OpenAI and a morally ambiguous service, you’ll see how these tools can be combined to find real customer feedback, learn what it means and provide a way to reach out to these same customers.

This one is going to lean more technical, but this event isn't just for engineers; it’s for anyone who loves digging into the messy parts of making something real. Expect a chaotic demo that might just crash in the middle of the pub session. No PhD required.

Come for the collaboration, stay for the banter. Don't miss it.
