Deep Research with MCP!

The Model Context Protocol is a system for very easily giving AI agents access to tools. MCP can let Claude create notes for you in Notion, make graphs for you in Neo4j, chat with your coworkers in Slack, or any number of other things.

In this session, let's hook up AI agents to MCP tools for Internet research and "structured thinking" and see if we can get results that are similar to OpenAI's $200/month "Deep Research" product.

In our last meeting we mostly just chatted, so this time we'll structure our time a little more:

1. 30 minutes for introductions and chit chat
2. 30 minutes for me to walk everybody through finding and setting up some MCP tools
3. 1 hour for turning AI agents loose to make discoveries!

Please bring a laptop. To get up and running quickly, you may want to already have Cursor, Cline, or Claude Desktop installed before you arrive.
