Space Apps Challenge Bootcamp

Details

On April 12-13th, TrepHub will host the International Space Apps Challenge (https://www.meetup.com/Coders-Hackers-Founders/events/173584912/). The event is also registered on the Space Apps Challenge website (https://2014.spaceappschallenge.org/location/trephub/).

Caley Burke from NASA's Launch Services Program (ELV) will be presenting and helping us prepare for the main event. If you have questions about the format or specific challenges, this is the time.

This event will involve the following:
30 minute introduction to the challenge.
Personal introductions.
Preview of some of the challenges.
1-2 hour team building, research, and brainstorming.

Please bring your laptops to this event!

If you attended the 3/24 event, feel free to arrive at 2 pm as you will have already seen the introduction to the challenge.

We will cover a focused subset of the challenges. We won't introduce all 45. Here is the full list of challenges (https://2014.spaceappschallenge.org/challenge/).

The challenges receiving the most attention will be those proposed by KSC:
Space Wearables (https://2014.spaceappschallenge.org/challenge/space-wearables-fashion-designer-astronauts/)
Asteroid Prospector (https://2014.spaceappschallenge.org/challenge/asteroid-prospector/)
Deployable Martian Greenhouse (https://2014.spaceappschallenge.org/challenge/growing-food-martian-table-integrating-deployable-/)

There is a Community (https://plus.google.com/communities/102012300755438665909) where you can discuss this event with your group and post questions for the organizers.
