Introduction to Domain-Driven Design

Details

This meetup is not about visual design of a GUI interface. It is about orginising (designing) your computer code. I will show you how to capture requirements and design software solution using Domain Driven Design - DDD

The event sponsor, Maurer-Electronics, will again kindly provide pizza and drink so we can continue socialising after the initial presentation. If you are interested in job opportunities available at Maurer you can talk to organisers after the presentation.

A word about DDD:
DDD is an approach to software development, a set of techniques and practices to aid the process of defining and building software solutions. It brings together business people (domain experts) and developers.

Working as a one team, they define the model of the domain, and express it as a set of diagrams. The model is expressed in such a way that developers can easily implement it, whilst the experts’ knowledge of the business gets translated in to the working software.
