Anyone who wants to learn Python for the first time or review.

• What?
Join us for an interactive workshop where we'll start from nothing and end with a Python program to do math on data in a CSV file. You will need your computer to follow along. We will also live stream the event (https://youtube.com/live/B8U9z1Tau-g).

If you will attend online, please do not RSVP. We use the RSVPs to determine capacity in the offline room.

If you're on Windows, we strongly recommend using Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and doing everything inside Linux/WSL. You can find installation instructions here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install

Be aware that this is a crash course. We will be going fast. Make sure you're well rested before attending. Normally, university students spend weeks learning what we will do in 2 hours. We will start on time, so please be punctual.

Food will not be provided, but we encourage people to grab food together after the event.
