Civic Tech Meet and Greet at Moore Square Farmers Market
Details
Join us for a time of community, connection, and civic tech. Current volunteers are invited to celebrate the progress we've made on our two current projects: Open Sidewalks and Zoning Atlas. New or returning volunteers are invited to learn more and to connect with these efforts to increase pedestrian access and affordable housing in our communities.
The GoRaleigh Transit Hub next to Moore Square Park is the center of the area we've been mapping for our Open Sidewalks. This is a chance to experience in-person what we've been mapping virtually during our Remote Mapping Parties. We'll also be prepared to discuss what we've learned through our Zoning Atlas project about zoning and affordable housing in Downtown Raleigh.
On Sundays, Moore Square park is home to a small Farmer's Market with vendor booths and food trucks. We invite you to join us for a time of casual conversation and (optionally) lunch on your own. This Sunday, there will also be the Fall Festival at City Market, making this an even better day to enjoy Downtown Raleigh.
