About us

CodeWomen is a community in Barcelona of around 800 tech women+ (including trans and non-binary).

Our goal is to support and empower women+ who want to make a career change into tech, especially migrant and refugee women. We meet two or three times a month in different locations, to network, work on coding projects, help each other, learn new skills, and get career advice and tips from other women+ developers.

CodeWomen+ was born in July 2020 within Open Cultural Center (OCC), an organisation that supports refugees and migrants in Barcelona. Read more about CodeWomen on our webpage (www.codewomen.plus)
