Director's Lunch with Dan Oostra

Details

Are you considering a career in coding but don't know where to start? Have you wanted to speak with an industry leader on what it takes to be a programmer but don't know who to ask?

If either of these describes you; reserve your spot now to speak with and enjoy a lunch with our Campus Director Daniel Oostra. Dan has over 20 years of programming experience, and before opening the Coding Dojo Campus in DC he worked at NASA Langley Research Center as a Computer and Information Scientist as well as owned his own Internet Marketing business. Click here (https://www.linkedin.com/in/danieloostra/) to read more of Dan's experience and accomplishments from his LinkedIn Page.

Agenda:

• What it takes to become, and be, a programmer.

• Who is Coding Dojo and how can we help?

• Lunch will be provided by Coding Dojo!

Parking: Free parking is available around the perimeter of the office complex but is very limited. I suggest you pay to park in the attached parking deck. It is $2 per hour.

Getting to the Cafeteria: Use the main entrance by the traffic circle off Solutions Drive. You'll see a sign that says "Coding Dojo Events" on the sidewalk in front of two large glass sliding doors. Once inside look for a Coding Dojo employee next to a Coding Dojo sign, he/she will escort you to the cafeteria.

Metro Directions: Silver Line (Greensboro Station).
1785 Greensboro Station Place is adjacent to the Silver Line station on the westbound side of VA-7 W (Leesburg Pike).

Need help? Call Bobby Bethea at 571.336.2073 or, if in the building, stop by one of the Office Security Management desks and ask for assistance.
