A laid-back get-together for good people, with insightful tech talks and pints.

Pre-pandemic it was a thing to meet like-minded people and learn and chat ─ let's bring it back!

Without corporate filters and agendas, and with a preference for good and sustainable use of tech.

This one would be centered around what can we expect from the future, not shying away from the concerning developments either, but also covering what meaningful actions are possible for better outcomes.

Attendees are also kindly invited to discuss the public consultation of the AI Act where the deadline is 5pm on Tuesday, 16 July 2024. [1]

We'll be in The Black Sheep on Capel Street, in the event room downstairs. They serve good food and drinks in the bar and we can bring all that downstairs.

This is a mask friendly event. Downstairs has ample space and ventilation. FFP2+ masks will be available at the venue in a limited amount.

PLEASE NOTE: this event is not a good use of your time if your attention is centered towards getting the most out from people/systems for yourself and/or you agree with the "Tech Optimist Manifesto" and/or you're offended in case someone criticises the terrible. Cryptobros/hypebros, sociopaths, and rectuiters/salespeople looking for targets please kindly stay away. TL;DR: neat behaviour essential and this policy is enforced.
