Even in the holiday season we can't stop working hard!
As we need focus, let's move out of the city and get productive in the countryside.
This time we are going to visit and work from a traditional Galician stone village, which converted into a unique rural coworking and coliving project.
Galicia, in the far northwest of Spain is the right inspiring place to work from. Green sceneries, good food, very nice people, mild summer-temperatures and one of Europe best beaches nearby.
The owner Edo turned the village into a creative spaces where people come to get their job done while enjoying the company of like-minded people, excellent cuisine and a supportive ambient.
Sende is a compound of different houses, has 4 gardens, 3 coworking offices and can host up to 25 guests, so we have plenty of space.
one of the four gardens surrounding Sende
Collectivehub says it's one of the coolest coworking spaces in the world
"It almost feels inaccurate to associate Sende with office spaces, no matter how pretty and progressive the others may be. But this collection of Galician homes found in the tiny Spanish village of Senderiz speaks of a new branch in co-working, one that offers rural co-working and co-living and takes the notion of freelance freedom to fierce new heights. Here in the mountains that border northern Portugal, sitting within old stonewalls that spill with orange gazania flowers, you could find yourself partaking in a life drawing festival, attending a session on nonviolent communication, or contributing to weekend long workshops on solving the current refugee crisis. These folks know that things like client meetings and career growth don’t need to be restricted to cement playgrounds."

How do I get there?
Preferably by plane. Galicia in the northwestern corner of Spain is pretty remote but well connected with low-cost airlines. Vigo is the nearest airport, but Santiago de Compostela and Porto are also nearby,
Ryanair and Vueling have direct flights from Barcelona. They are around 30-60€ one way on these dates. You can fly in for example on Jul 13 for 50€ and fly out on Jul 22 for 30€, so it's 80€ in total.
From the three airports you catch a bus to Ourense. In Ourense we get picked up by the Sende staff.
How much does it cost?
This will be the last time, that we will offer a workation for such a incredible low price. Promised!
