Talk one: From Prompts to Production Agents
Brendan Scullion
Everyone can make an LLM call. Turning that into an agent that reliably gets real work done is a different problem entirely.
This talk walks through our journey from simple prompts to production-grade AI agents, and the architecture we built to get there: skill chaining that loads a hierarchy of capabilities based on the task at hand, dynamic tool loading and capability packs that give the agent exactly what it needs and nothing it doesn't, context management strategies that keep the agent sharp over long tasks, and memory recall that lets it save and retrieve what matters across conversations.
Talk two: Why Does AI Choose That Source?
Piush Vaish
How ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity decide which websites appear in their answers
More people are starting their research by asking AI instead of clicking through pages of search results. So what determines whether your website appears in the answer, or gets left out entirely?
I analysed more than 74,000 AI answers and nearly half a million source links, collected over nine months. Citation behaviour differs significantly across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
I'll walk through what makes a source appear, how citation behaviour differs across platforms, and what this means for being found through AI search.
I'll also share how I used AI coding tools to run the project end to end: cleaning messy data, modelling topics, identifying patterns, building interactive visualisations and deploying a web application. I'll show where the tools fell short, and where human judgement still had to step in.
A practical, behind-the-scenes session for anyone curious about how AI search actually works.
Talk three: Managing AI Coding Agents Without Losing Your Mind
Jack Allan
And vibe coding the tool that helps
AI-assisted development has created a new problem. Developers are now managing multiple agents, builds, terminals and long-running tasks all at once. Our tools have become more autonomous, but our ability to keep track of what actually needs our attention hasn't kept pace.
In this talk I'll introduce climon, an open-source tool I built to turn terminal processes into managed sessions that can be monitored, prioritised, controlled remotely and accessed from anywhere, even from a phone.
The unusual part? The entire project was vibe coded. AI played a central role in designing the architecture, implementing features, generating code, reviewing designs and speeding up development. The result is a system spanning Rust, React, Bun, PWAs, terminal emulation, push notifications, remote machine connectivity, mobile interaction and cross-platform process management.
I'll demo how climon helps developers manage AI agents and long-running workflows by detecting when a process genuinely needs human input, surfacing the highest-priority work and letting you interact with sessions from anywhere.
Along the way, I'll share candid lessons from vibe coding a substantial real-world project: what worked, what failed, where human judgement remained essential and how AI changed the way I think about software development.
Expect live demos, architecture discussion and practical takeaways for anyone building software in the age of AI.
