Coed Hiking Club Newport TN - Explore Local Trails

Welcome to the Advanced Coed Hiking Club in Newport, TN! If you love the great outdoors and exploring local trails, this is the group for you. Join us as we venture out on hikes through the stunning natural landscapes of eastern Tennessee. We seek more experienced hikers who want to enjoy moderate to strenuous trails which could have some elevation gain. Our group offers opportunities for everyone who already has all the proper apparel and hiking shoes; a day pack with the food and the water to enjoy either a half-day or full-day hike. Please keep in mind many of our hikes will start at the Smoky Mountains National Park. Therefore, this will require extra travel time. All hikers in the group activity will compensate the driver with gas and any parking fees. In addition, since many of those hikes in the NP are very popular with limited parking, it may require earlier start times. So, if you a morning person this is the right place for you. Your leader works full-time and most of our hikes will be on the weekends. However, the leader might be "open" to some weekday hikes. In addition, for those who enjoy hiking and photography, we could entertain unique trips for our photography "buffs". Let's lace up our hiking boots, breathe in the fresh air, and discover new paths together. Come and be a part of our community of nature enthusiasts!
