South Street 7 Stories: Behind the Build

Step inside the South Street Seven Stories project at CNTR and
experience a neighborhood brought back to life through immersive
technology.

This meetup offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the project
is created, including:
• VR tours of digitally preserved spaces like La Boca and the Buttonwood Tree
• 3D scans of local locations before they disappear
• Demonstrations of turning old photos into 3D models

We’re also launching the beginning of our fundraising campaign. Optional donations help support this community art initiative honoring a once-thriving neighborhood lost to 1970s redevelopment.
Supporters will be recognized within the AR experience itself—connecting your name or organization with a meaningful, place-based storytelling project focused on preservation, community, and cultural recognition.
