Coffee Club Special Edition: Morning Hike with *The Human Board*

This isn't your usual coffee club. Inspired by how great it is to grab a coffee with a cool... mentor, you will:

Welcome to a very special — and second! — edition of Coffee Club Barcelona where we host members of The Human Board in person for meaningful and free conversations about your career growth.

INVITATION: Saturday 28 March, 8:30am - 10:30am @ Plaça del Nen de la Rutlla, Parc del Guinardó, meet at the statue.

The Human Board is a very different kind of "board of advisors" where wonderful, talented people get the professional mentorship-driven guidance that they need about their careers. Accomplished, cool, and kind board members, who are at the height of their varied industries, listen well and give free guidance to those who apply for meetings. The Human Board is a global initiative that is almost two years old and has inspired career growth, pivots, exits, changes, applications, affirmations, and more.

This special coffee club event coincides with a board member summit where we have core board members flying in from around the world to convene in Barcelona, so this is a very rare opportunity to enjoy a morning stroll and have a casual chat with truly the best people in business (leaders of some of the most renowned companies around the world) about your own career and what you'd like to do next - for free.

Those who joined us for the first Human Board edition back in October know just how special this is — and we're so excited to do it again.

Similar to the usual Coffee Club Barcelona format we will:

• Meet up with high-quality, high-vibe people, THIS TIME AT Plaça del Nen de la Rutlla, Parc del Guinardó
• Bring a coffee to go (bring your own tumbler/thermos if you'd like) or grab one at the end with us — we will end our hike at a cafe.
• Go for a long walk/hike with these people OUR CONVERSATION STARTER FOR THIS EVENT IS "Tell me about your career?" :) in nature
• Chat about life for a couple hours while on the move and enjoying the sights and sounds of Barcelona
• Experience that happy, buoyant feeling that comes from an engaging, pleasant chat
• Enjoy some of the best views of Barcelona and nature
• Continue on with the rest of your day

We will leave the statue for our walk together at 8:40am. Please be prompt and on time, we will not wait and don't want to miss you. x

Disclaimers:
This meetup is free, but logically you must purchase your own coffee or beverage of your choice directly with the coffee shop that we're heading to after. The primary language of this meetup will be English, the organizer Jenna also speaks Spanish for any questions or needs. For accessibility please note that we will be hiking up and down steep inclines and uneven terrain to arrive at the mirador del nen de la rutlla. In the event of rain we will message to establish a new indoors location. If you have a well-behaved dog and would like to walk your dog at the same time you are encouraged to bring them. Note that there will be no presentations, we will not be doing any 'talking at,' we'll all be talking with each other, in separate 1:1, 2-3:1 conversations, while hiking around the mountain. Note that while this meetup is in English, this is *not an English language learning group - this is a way for incredible strangers (both locals and expat locals, we're about 50/50) to get together, chat, and connect about real topics - this time, about your career.
