For anyone passionate about learning the Thai language. We warmly welcome students of all levels and backgrounds. Whether you're currently enrolled in a Thai school, taking a break, or self-studying, you're welcome here! We understand that learning Thai can be challenging, and sometimes, all you need is a little extra motivation and support from fellow students.
Why Join Us?
Join us for relaxed conversations, insightful presentations, and cultural discussions, all while enjoying your favorite cup of coffee and/or pastry! Our meetups are a space to practice your Thai, but more importantly, to stay connected with the language in a fun and supportive environment.
How Are We Different?
While we do speak Thai at our meetings, we are NOT primarily a language exchange group—there are already plenty of those. Many of our members have completed their classes or are taking a break from formal schooling, and we know how quickly language skills can fade without regular use.
Our primary focus is on discussing the latest advancements in Thai learning technology, sharing the best books and online resources, and exchanging valuable tips and tricks. Our meetups tend to be more technology-oriented, with common topics including favorite YouTube channels, recommended italki tutors, and the use of AI and Machine Learning in Thai language learning.
Fees, Sponsorships and Disclaimer
This part is easy. There are no member fees and there never will be any membership fees. We are not sponsored by any company or school - or will we ever be sponsored by any company/school - because we don't need it and it maintains our impartiality.
Meeting Locations
True to our name, we will meet at coffee shops/cafes around Bangkok. We will try to move around to make it fair for our members - example - If we have more members near CentralWorld, we'll meet at CentralWorld more.
